Latest Pokemon GO updates claimed that the developer is adding more locations for PokeStops and Pokemon Gyms.
Pokemon GO players will be delighted to know that Niantic Labs, the developer behind the game, is adding more PokeStops and Pokemon Gyms to cater for the growing number of players of the game.
According to IGN, the current number of PokeStops and Pokemon Gyms is not satisfying the overwhelming number of players playing the game. Now, developer Niantic Labs is open for suggestions for new locations of PokeStops and Pokemon Gyms.
Another reason for the sudden need for new locations is due to the fact that some areas are dense with Gyms and PokeStops, especially the major cities. However, areas that are far off have fewer.
Niantic Labs made forms available to players to suggest real-world landmarks to become Gyms and PokeStops. While all suggestions are welcome, the sites should be safe and public areas. The location should also be interesting like a piece of art or local business.
People from rural areas and other remote areas request for new locations. Players can input the location and a few description and landmarks and send to developer for consideration.
Meanwhile, Pokemon GO players can also report PokeStops or Pokemon Gyms in a dangerous location or in a personal property.
Previous reports claimed that some players are risking their lives to play Pokemon GO. When playing the game, players must keep their phones open, which attract criminals since the players are distracted.
Massive downloads and daily users are due to the immense popularity of this one-of-a-kind game. The main appeal of the new game is that it is augmented reality, which is probably the first of its kind. Moreover, the fan base of Pokémon is really big.
No official location has been disclosed yet, but gamers can expect the new PokeStops or Pokemon Gyms in the next Pokemon GO update.
