"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed was recently spotted at the Los Angeles airport of the LAX.
According to The Daily Mail, the couple looked extremely stylish on their way out of the airport. Even though they were clad in simple-looking attire, the couple's aura was quite stunning.
The publication reported that the couple headed to Atlanta on Thursday in preparation for the filming of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8. Since the production for the hit The CW takes place in Georgia, Somerhalder needs to be on set a few days ahead of production.
Just like last season, Somerhalder also brought his wife along with him to Atlanta, and they will remain there until the production for "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 goes on midseason break.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Reed is also preparing herself for Somerhalder's upcoming reunion with his ex-girlfriend and former co-star Nina Dobrev.
Since Reed will be with Somerhalder in Atlanta, there are rumors that the "Sleepy Hollow" alum will visit The CW set every now and then.
In season 6, Somerhalder already brought Reed on the set to watch him film his scenes as Damon Salvatore. During that time, there were rumors that Reed and Dobrev didn't speak to each other.
After all, a few months after Dobrev and Somerhalder ended their relationship, the actor already started dating Reed. A few months passed and they decided to tie the knot.
Dobrev, on the other hand, took a much longer time to move on from her ex-boyfriend. Once she was over him, Dobrev started dating Austin Stowell. Unfortunately, their relationship didn't last very long.
If Dobrev will return to "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 set sometime in the second half of the series, there's a huge possibility that she will bump into Reed.
However, the actress previously said that even though she and Reed are not friends, they are amicable towards each other.
In fact, following Reed and Somerhalder's wedding, Dobrev said that she's happy for the couple.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere on The CW sometime this October.
