Pokémon Legendaries are rare, thus hard to find, but these powerful pocket monsters are certainly part of the ongoing Pokémon GO craze. Leaked source codes of the mobile game reportedly confirmed that the likes of MewTwo and Vaporeon will soon appear and catching them is surely worth the trouble.
According to iDigitalTimes, the Pokémon Legendaries will soon unleash and be ready for the taking but make no mistake - spotting them is not an easy task. "The source file shows that all of the Legendaries are in the files, but none have been unlocked for capture and will be available at a later date," the report said.
Rare Pokémon waiting to be caught
And they are catchable, which is a task that can be made easy with the help of simple hacks. One way is being mindful of rustling leaves that appear on the mobile device screen as floating leaves. They indicate that a Pokémon is nearby and could pop out anytime.
Or to make the hunt for rare Pokémon a tad easier, Tech Times pointed to the suggestion shared by Redditor SkyriderRJM. The trick is simply firing up the Pokémon GO and Ingress apps simultaneously. The Reddit user claimed that as both applications came from Niantic Labs, GO players can take advantage of their similarities.
Specifically, the two apps have the same spawn points, identified as XM areas, where there is heavy concentration of rare Pokémon or the Legendaries. "I've found consistently, that areas that have dense clusters of XM are where you are going to find Pokémon," Tech Times reported SkyriderRJM as saying.
In his case, SkyriderRJM claimed that he detected a hiding three-footprint Squirtle in minutes with the use of Ingress.
MewTwo vs Vaporeon
The same trick can be employed to easily find the rare but most sought after Legendaries like MewTwo and Vaporeon. Hunting the former, The BitBag said, is richly rewarding as MewTwo is regarded as the most dominant of the Mons.
"If all the data like HP, ATK and DEF are combined to measure the best Pokémon, MewTwo is on top of the list with a huge margin, and any player that has this Pokémon is sure to dominate," the report said.
But iDigitalTimes is not convinced, pointing to the water Eevee Vaporeon as the stronger kind. It could be that stats-wise, MewTwo enjoys the upper hand but "Vaporeon has the highest damage output of any Pokémon in the game," the report added.
And soon enough Pokémon GO players will soon get a hold of these Legendaries and more.
