A fortune teller in Sichuan Province has a similar style with that of a fake feng shui master who used his craft to sexually abuse women.
In late June, a 43-year-old man, who passed himself as a feng shui practitioner, faced charges filed by a 25-year-old woman in Hong Kong who accused him of fooling her into having sex four times to save the shaky relationship with her boyfriend. His style did not differ much from a male fortune teller who convinced a Sichuan grandmother that the only cure for the illness of the 13-year-old granddaughter is for him to have sex with the teen.
The superstitious grandmother, who took care of her granddaughter because the girl’s parents are migrant workers in the city, consented to the fortune teller’s order. On May 30, the two went to his home, she left her granddaughter with the fortune teller who brought the teen into the woods where he raped her, reported China.org.
As a result of the sexual abuse, the teen became depressed and wrote four suicide notes and made two recordings from July 6 to 11. On Tuesday, July 12, she ended her misery by jumping off a building.
The fortune teller and the grandmother have been arrested and are undergoing investigation.
