Nick Gordon, the man who Bobbi Kristina Brown calls her husband, is asking permission from Bobby Brown to see Bobbi Kristina in the hospital.
On Feb. 18, Wednesday night, Gordon's lawyers Joe Habacy and Randy Kessler revealed their client's high hopes of being granted on his request. The 21-year-old coma patient was found in her tub unresponsive and face-down on Jan. 31 in her house in Alpharetta, Ga. Her family has been updating the public about her condition, saying that she is continuously fighting for her life at the Emory University Hospital.
Gordon's request reached the family on the same day that a tracheotomy was inserted in the patient to lower the risk of infection, family insider shared with the NBC News. The source also revealed that before Bobbi Kristina could be taken out from her induced coma condition, she will be weaned off from her coma medication first.
Both lawyers have made it clear that their client desperately wants to see Bobbi Kristina and that he has not attempted to return to Emory University Hospital and risk a public humiliation.
Gordon, who is the primary suspect of the on-going investigation, was turned away the first time he tried to visit Bobbi a few hours after the 21-year-old was found unresponsive in her tub. A restraining order prevents him from seeing any of the Brown and Houston family members, the Radar Online reported.
Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina's mother, died in 2012 in a similar bathtub incident, hours before the pre-Grammy Awards party. The authorities said that Houston's death was due to accidental drowning, with cocaine use and heart disease as contributing factors.
