In the more than one-minute video, members of the iconic rock group Metallica can be seen performing a rock version of the Pokemon song. The clip started with band member Lars Ulrich hitting the drums and inviting the concertgoers to give a rousing cheer for the rock group. The video then showed Metallica's lead singer James Hetfield strumming on his guitar and singing the opening lyrics of the theme song.

The Metallica Pokemon performance may be fan-made but it still looks very real. The Brazilian YouTuber was able to create a mash-up video where the rock band's stage movements matched the Pokemon theme song's beat. The roar of the crowd and the scenes of the rock legends performing the Pokemon song also looked convincing.

Salles has been creating mash-up videos of famous American bands performing hit Brazilian tunes, as indicated in the same report. He shared that he came up with the Metallica Pokemon fan-made clip following the massive success of the mobile gaming app "Pokemon Go." The Brazilian YouTuber commented that he made the fan video "just for fun."

In other news, "Pokemon Go" has recently hit a milestone with 100 million users around the world installing the mobile app during the last weekend period of July. The data came from App Annie, an App Store intelligence company, Tech Crunch reported. The game has previously tracked a 75 million download count towards the latter part of July.

"Pokemon Go" has also earned more than 10 million in daily revenue, as indicated in the same report. Despite the game's high daily revenue count, it still did not affect the revenue of other popular mobile gaming apps such as "Candy Crush Saga" and "Clash of Clans." The daily revenue for the said games did not post a major decline in numbers, according to App Annie data.
