‘Dragon Ball Super’ episode 54 promo dissection: Is Zamasu a creepy Kaioshin? Trunks in Super Saiyan-jin Dai Ni-dankai [SPOILERS]

Last episode of "Dragon Ball Super" (DBS) witnessed Zamasu vs. Son Goku in a fight. Goku won the battle and Zamasu thanked his master Gowasu for giving him an opportunity to improve. However, towards the end, we saw a creepy side of Zamasu thinking to himself that he will not forget Goku. Let's us dissect the preview of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 and see what is in store.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 preview trailer dissection

The preview begins with Vegeta is Super Saiyan Blue mode and he is seen instructing Trunks. Next up, we see Trunks transforming and his muscles swell up.

By looking at his form, it is likely that Trunks would be in Super Saiyan-jin Dai Ni-dankai also known as Ascended Saiyan or Super Saiyan 1 Grade 2.

In this stage, the difference is rather subtle compared to Super Saiyan. The muscle mass increases leading to the outfit tearing apart. Also, the golden hair becomes a little rigid.

Now, it has to be seen if Vegeta would take Future Trunks in the hyperbolic time chamber for training.

Meanwhile, the preview showcases Zamasu serving tea to Gowasu and he has a smile on his face. What is he thinking?

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 preview trailer shows Gowasu showing the five Time Rings to Zamasu. They will be using them to travel 1000 years into the future where Goku and others are, perhaps, dead. Next, we see, kid Mai praying and the scene cuts to Future Trunks in his base form hovering over a body of water. The end shows Vegeta scolding his son Trunks.

Certainly, Vegeta would want his son to train harder to reach the level where he can face Black Goku.

"Hey Trunks, did you eat your fill? We're going to go defeat Black pretty soon, after all. Oh? You're sparring with Vegeta? He's way more awesome now than he was back in the old days.
