"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 cast member Kat Graham recently gushed over Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's relationship.
Just recently, the couple spent some quality time with Graham and the cast of "The Vampire Diaries" at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con.
Ahead of this, Reed also joined her husband in Atlanta, Georgia for the script reading and filming of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.
While speaking with People magazine, Graham revealed that she has a very close relationship with Reed.
"Nikki is amazing and we are very, very close. You can thank all of my ear piercings, you can thank her. She didn't pierce them, but she got like crazy ear game, and it's really cute when best friends take inspiration from each other," she said.
Meanwhile, Graham also revealed that one big thing she likes most about Reed and Somerhalder's relationship.
"Why I think they're so perfect is because of their philanthropy. They have the same values when it comes to people, how you treat people, how you treat animals, how you treat the world, the environment. I mean, they're really perfect together. I'm like, thank God you guys found each other because I don't know what you would do without each other. They're perfect," the actress said.
Graham's revelation came as a shock to some supporters of Somerhalder and his ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev. The estranged couple previously starred in "The Vampire Diaries" alongside Graham who also happened to have a close bond with Dobrev.
As it turned out, Graham didn't give Somerhalder and Dobrev the same support that she is now giving to the former and Reed. Based on her statement, Somerhalder should've always been with his wife.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. ET.
