Salma Hayek guested on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Aug. 3, Wednesday, and has something for Donald Trump. She suggested Trump read the book, "U.S. History for Dummies."
"Mr. Trump, I recommend to you to read this book," Hayek said on the show. "I will gladly lend you my copy."
The 49-year-old Mexico native presented Corden with the big yellow book. She was vocal on her appearance on the show about her disgust for the Republican presidential nominee.
There is only one thing Hayek agrees with Trump. The latter writes in his book that he punched his music teacher in first grade for believing he did not know anything about music. The wealthy businessman later reflected that he is exactly the same as that kid in the first grade.
Hayek agrees with Trump. She believes they are having a first-grade bully running to be the next United States president.
The "Sausage Party" star slammed the GOP nominee in April when he misspoke about the 2001 terrorist attack during a rally in New York. Though English is her second language, she said she does not confuse 7/11 with 9/11, she tweeted.
Last year, the Mexican actress labelled Trump's controversial remarks about "rapist" Mexican immigrants as as "manipulation." She added it was simply a self-promotion tactic but she has seen through such manipulation.
In June, the actress wondered how Trump would look like if he had Latin genes. Trump's sharp critic used face swap to show how he would look like had he been Hispanic. Her Instagram post appeared to be a response to Trump's attack on the judge who presides over lawsuits against Trump University.
The judge was Indiana-born Gonzalo Curiel of the U.S. District who has Mexican heritage. Trump questioned if he can be impartial because of having a Mexican heritage, The Hill reported.
Meanwhile, the GOP presidential candidate is not doing well in the most recent polls. He has been beaten by Hillary Clinton by 10 percentage points - 49 percent vs 39 percent, according to Fox News national poll released on Aug. 3, Wednesday. The next day, a McClatchy-Marist poll showed the Democratic presidential candidate to be ahead of Trump by 15 percentage points - 48 percent against Trump's 33 percent.
