The next episode of MBC's "W - Two Worlds" may not be released on its regular airing date, which should be on Aug. 10.
The on-going "Rio 2016 Olympics" have pre-empted MBC's "W - Two Worlds" this week, forcing the network to reschedule episode 7 and 8 to a later date or air at 10:00 PM (KST) as planned, contingent upon to what extent the Olympics run, All Kpop reported.
Despite the long wait, MBC just posted behind-the-scenes stills of Lee Jong Suk's Kang Chul and Han Hyo-Joo's Oh Yeon Joo enjoying a romantic date. In the released photos, Kang Chul and Oh Yeon Joo are seen wearing matching clothes, as they spend a great time riding a bicycle.
"In order for everyone to get through the 'Monday blues,' here are some behind-the-scenes stills of Lee Jong-Suk's Kang Chul and Han Hyo Joo's Oh Yeon Joo's cheesy date," MBC said in a statement obtained by Soompi. The photos were widely circulated on Twitter.

Helmed by PD Jung Dae Yoon, "W - Two Worlds" premiered on July 20 with a national TV rating of 10.4 percent. Since then, the 16-episode fantasy drama maintained its strong rating performance in Wednesdays & Thursdays blocks.
"W - Two Worlds" steady increment in viewership ratings is ascribed to the drama's unique theme, as well as Lee and Han's undeniable on-screen chemistry. The on-going drama follows a unique romance between the webtoon protagonist, Kang Chul and Oh Yeon Joo, a surgeon in the real world.
"It's the story of a man and a woman who discover their reason for existence while living in different dimensions in Seoul in 2016," director Jung Dae-Yoon as saying during the drama's press conference. "There's suspense, horror, comedy and romance."
