The Golden State Warriors has assembled a team so strong that it seems like the only way they can be beaten is to break them up.

At least that's what most people think, and if the allegations of Bleacher Report analyst Ric Bucher hold true, one team is already making a play to "poach" the heart and soul of the team, Steph Curry.

Late last month, Bucher released an "Insider Buzz" video which claimed that another team, which was described as a "title contender" wanted to "poach Curry."

Bucher said that the relationship between Curry and Durant could become "poisonous" and that the last second shots that were set up for Curry before will now go to KD. Bucher insinuates that this could upset Curry and the other team would sell him on becoming "the man" again.

Now, Bucher had a guest appearance on Sirius XM Radio that confirmed that it was the San Antonio Spurs that he was talking about. Centrio Times had transcribed his comments.

"I think the [San Antonio] Spurs are looking at the fact that Kevin Durant came into Golden State and that Kevin Durant may take up some of the superstar space that was previously occupied by Steph Curry, and when Steph Curry becomes a free agent, I think they are going to go hard at Steph Curry. I think they're going to look at Steph and say 'they brought in a replacement for you.'"

Bucher's statements seem purely speculative at this point, but he may be privy to sources with the San Antonio Spurs. It seems natural that every other team in the NBA is cheering against the Golden State Warriors. All of their hopes at winning the title were crushed.

What are the chances of Curry and Durant's relationship becoming "poisonous?" The truth is, this is one of the more optimistic pairings in the league. Most pundits are looking for the New York Knicks to implode or the Chicago Bulls.

While the situations are similar-bitter rivals joining forces, Durant went through a process of selection where his rivals all made a pitch for him. The Spurs and Clippers were also there, and he made a calculated, some would say, premeditated choice to go with the Warriors.

The jury's still out until they spend a season on the court. It should be noted that Durant, not just Curry, can also be a free agent next summer so if the relationship is "poisonous" he may be the one to go.
