"Anthropoid" star Jamie Dornan recently expressed his happiness over the fact that never again would he have to portray the role of Christian Grey.
While speaking with Vulture, the actor was asked to comment on the franchise. However, Dornan refused to give any comments especially since he's already completed filming for "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."
Dornan continued by saying that he's pleased he can move on to doing and starring in other projects because the last thing that he wants is to be too repetitive in his choice of roles and stories.
"I think that diversity as an actor is a pretty useful thing to have. You don't want to be too repetitive. I wouldn't want to do just those films, I wouldn't want to do any films where you're playing the same character all the time, whatever it is. You gotta keep it interesting, and challenge yourself, and do roles that you think are worthwhile and interest you. That can come in all different forms, but you want to make sure that they're not the same over and over again," he said.
Meanwhile, outside of work, Dornan remains a doting husband and father to his wife Amelia Warner and two children.
During his appearance on "Live! With Kelly" (via Pop Sugar), Dornan gushed over his two daughters. He also admitted that as of now, they are not thinking of having another child.
"We've got two little girls now, so it's pretty insane... One of my best friends said that one is a pet, two is a zoo... I always thought I'd want the boy because... I think as a guy you just think, 'I'll have a little mini version of myself' or something in a sort of narcissistic way, but then once you've had girls I can't imagine having another one," he said.
Dornan also admitted that juggling fatherhood and work has been quite challenging, but it's something that he's learning to adapt with.
"You have to just go with it and accept less sleep and less time in your hands and accept less reading of books and washing and all the usual things you do in a day," he said.
