The singer was extremely happy after this announcement and Tweeted to express her happiness. ''Honored to take the #VMAs stage as your video #VANGUARD award recipient LIVE from NYC on August 28!" her Tweet said.
In other news, her latest single with Calvin Harris ''This Is What You Came For'' was a phenomenal success. She has come a long way in her decade long music career.
