Helmed by PD Jung Dae-Yoon, "W - Two Worlds" recounts the unique love story between a female Cardiothoracic surgeon, Oh Yeon Joo (Han) and Kang Chul (Lee), the protagonist of the webtoon world of "W." The drama premiered on July 20 with a national television rating of 10.4 percent.

Since then, it has swept the number one spot with its consistent increment in viewership rating. The drama's positive feedbacks and high ratings are credited to the lead stars' undeniable on-screen chemistry.

On the July 24 episode of MBC's "Section TV," Lee admitted that his first impression of the "Dong Yi" actress was really different from how Han would behave on set. He added that his co-star was brighter and cuter than he anticipated.

"Whenever she is having a hard time, she even dances," said Lee, revealing that Han's veins are the prettiest part of the actress, as cited by Soompi. "Yesterday when we were filming, I noticed that her skin is very pale and translucent, so the veins shine through. It was very pretty."

Thus, "W - Two Worlds" was said to be the most talked about television program in the first week of August, according to GoodData Corporation, a renowned analytics company, as cited by The Kpop Herald. With a recorded total point of 25, 751, the fantasy drama ranked the No. 1 spot among all Korean dramas for three consecutive weeks.
