New "Doctor Strange" details and possible spoilers will feature an explanation of magic in Marvel Cinematic Universe and Iron Man rumored to have a cameo in the film.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding a character cameo appearance in "Doctor Strange" as eagle eyed fans spotted a clue in the LEGO playset for the film. The LEGO playset will feature Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofar) fighting a squid like monster who is rumored to be the MCU's version Shuma-Gorath in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
On the LEGO playset, viewers will notice a letter from Stark Industries on Strange's coffee table. The letter speculated that there is a chance that Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will making an appearance in the film, Yahoo Movies reported.
Both Doctor Strange and Iron Man are good friends in the comics and teammates in the Avengers and also a founding member of the Illuminati. Despite there friendship, Iron Man is rather skeptical on his belief in magic, while Strange tries to have an open with magic and technology, contrasting their personalities.
Iron Man will also have anothe appearance in Marvel Studios new Spider-Man film, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
In other news, director Scott Derrickson explains the existance of magic in the MCU as he told GamesRadar that magic is magic in the movie and it is not something that can be explained by scientific means.
Magic in "Doctor Strange" not something that is easy to define and adds mystery to the tone of the film. Derrickson also revealed why Cumberbatch is the perfect person to play Stephen Strange in the film citing that ability to play a character is important, from the top of his egocentricity to his fall from grace.
Viewers will begin to see Strange's journey for redemption and will slowly grow out of his ego and becomes a selfless hero. Derrickson stated that he never felt pressured to integrate his film into the larger MCU, but that there are “some touches” to let audiences know it exists in within that universe.
"Doctor Strange" is scheduled to release in cinemas on Nov. 4.
