Jim Bob Duggar, the Duggar family patriarch attracts social media criticism for posting a picture of him with his two infant sons, standing on a trampoline. The users expressed concern over Duggar's baby boys wearing only diapers.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Jim Bob Duggar is the news again and not for a good reason. In his latest Instagram post, that looks harmless at the face of it, he is holding is two sons, Jer and Jed Duggar. However, senior Duggar would not expected the reaction he got to this pic.
Social media users got upset and started accusing him about being reckless with small children, posting a picture with them on a trampoline, potentially putting them at risk by jumping on it. Some also pointed out that the babies were naked and only wearing diapers. One commenter wrote, "Trampolines with babies isn't safe, if he had half a brain he would know that. Don't care who it is." While another commenter noted that the Duggars will never post a picture of one of their daughters naked as an infant.
Just when the social media debate became heated, some fans that support the Duggar family jumped into their defense claiming that they are just another family and that it is unfair to criticize everything they do, reports SheKnows.
The Duggar family is not the ideal, beloved family that everyone looks up to, more so since Josh Duggar's sex scandal surfaced. However, despite all the negative press that their eldest son attracted due to his indiscreet ways, the family still continues to cash in through reality television. In fact, the Duggar family has a huge social media following and even if one doesn't follow them personally, chances are that their name will pop up in some post or another. While the Duggar followers believe in the family's devout Christian beliefs, the ones that are critical have no choice but to tolerate their ubiquity on TV and other forms of media.
To maintain that presence online, it is not surprising that the family names keeps appearing in one mini-scandal after another. More recently, Jim Bob Duggar unintentionally started a social media furor over a seemingly harmless #TBT picture of him and his infant sons on Instagram.
