The Chengdu man who was beaten and stripped naked by animal welfare volunteers was not just physically beating dogs when he was caught in his room.
Beating the dogs into submission was just part of the pervert’s ritual. After hitting the animals, the man has sex with the dog while livestreaming the act to thousands of viewers, reported The Sun. It was dog lovers who noticed his activity on cyberspace when they saw his streams three weeks ago. He reportedly charges £5 or 44 yuan to livestream viewers, according to The Star.
The animal lovers traced the man to Shiling, a town in the province of Chengdu. The volunteers pretended to be his fans and requested for a meet up to which he agreed.
He was not aware that the “fans” had set a trap for the animal abuser by meeting the Chengdu man in a rented room. There, the volunteers took off his clothes and beat him. Then they took him into the streets and further humiliated the 20-year-old man.
Local residents, however, called the police who stopped the beatings and took the man to the hospital where he is recovering now. While he may not be charged for sexually abusing the stray dogs, authorities are looking into his livestreaming activity if they could file charges against him for violation of the country’s cyber laws.
The police has not arrested any of the angry mob, but they are also studying if charges could be filed against the volunteers who harmed the man.
