Numerous photos from Instagram posted by "Jane the Virgin" cast members have hinted a few clues on what fans will expect in the upcoming season. Since one glaring picture features a happy Jane, Rafael and Baby Mateo, the ex-lovers are speculated to get back together in season 3.
The last season of "Jane the Virgin" ended with a tragedy when Michael Cordero was shot. The upcoming season is expected to reveal whether the said character will survive from the incident.
As for Jane, it may be likely that she will be spending more time with her family to cope from the tragedy. But for Jamie Camil, the actor who plays as Jane's father, he wanted Michael to recover from the gunshot, Pop Sugar reported.
Camil further said they are not allowed to spill details for the next season especially that cast members do not also have any idea on the succeeding events that will happen. He also confirmed they are not part of the trust circle of "Jane the Virgin" showrunner Jennie Urman.
Though fans are still clueless on Michael's fate, several photos from season 3's shooting are already giving hints about the state of Jane and Baby Mateo. Several Instagram photos were posted by Jane actress herself, Gina Rodriguez.
The behind-the-scene pictures depict happy moments for her, her baby and her baby daddy Rafael Solano. One photo was captioned by the actress with, "How baby Mateo looks at Baby Daddy," while using hashtag "family is back." While this may mean the former couple will be getting back together, the single photo cannot guarantee of what is really going to happen in the upcoming season, according to another report by Pop Sugar.
The report added that although fans are still oblivious on how the story would run, the only certain thing confirmed from the photos is that the cast are close to each other, and they are happy filming each episode of the TV series.
Season 3 of "Jane the Virgin" will premiere on Oct. 17, Monday at The CW.
