The midseason finale episode of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 has revealed several surprising story twists, along with a few shocking death scenes. On the other hand, the series' showrunner has recently revealed some interesting information about the show's upcoming finale.
Avid viewers of the Freeform series "Pretty Little Liars" may have been taken by surprise with the plot twists that were featured in the midseason 7 finale that aired on Tuesday, Aug. 30. Episode 10, titled "The DArkest Knight," has shown fans a gory death scene as Brant Daugherty's character Noah had his head cut off with an axe, according to episode spoilers posted on E!News.
In the said scene, Noah was chasing after Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) with a big axe in an abandoned building, while Jenna (Tammin Sursok) went after Troian Bellisario's Spencer, Lucy Hale's Aria and Sasha Pieterse's Alison. However, Noah dropped the said weapon and eventually fell neck-down onto the axe's blade.
Apart from Noah, two other characters may have also died in the "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 midseason finale. The said episode featured a car accident that involved Keegan Allen and Kara Royster's characters. A scene in episode 10 has shown both Toby and Yvonne bleeding and unconscious after a horrendous looking car crash.
Elsewhere in the said episode, Spencer was revealed to be Mary's (Andrea Parker) daughter. Ali also confessed her pregnancy to Emily and that Huw Collins' Elliot was the father of her unborn child. Avid Haleb fans will also be happy with the romantic development between Hanna and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn). However, Hale's character's love life may be heading for darker times given the touching reunion between Ian Harding's Ezra and Nicole.
Meanwhile, with the impending end of "Pretty Little Liars," showrunner Marlene King has shared in an interview with Us Weekly magazine a plot twist suggested by some of the series' cast members. She revealed that female leads Hale, Mitchell, Bellisario and Benson each conveyed their wish to see the death of Aria, Emily, Spencer and Hanna during the series finale.
However, it is still unclear if King will heed the said cast members' storyline suggestion. Although the showrunner has indicated that she found the suggested ending as a terrible way to cap off the series.
The second half of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 is expected to return to the small screens in April 2017.
