According to reports, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will feature Intel's Kaby Lake processor. Also, the Surface Pro 4 has received a big discount.
The i7 Kaby Lake usually offers 15% to 20% increase over Skylake chips. This boost is due to no changes in design or clock. The processor is better able to take advantage of Overboost and Turbo Boost to provide better performance in many different areas.
For potential users of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, the biggest benefits may come when used for video streaming or gaming. In testing, the CPU managed to stream a 4K video at 60 frames per second and consumed 3.2 watts in power.
The upcoming tablet will have a 4k Ultra HD display and a 2k resolution display. Other rumored features of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 include a USB Type C connector and 16 GB of RAM. It is believed that the tablet will run Windows Redstone 2 that is set for launch in the spring of next year.
Furthermore, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to come with an improved Surface Pen that will feature wireless charging.

The Redmond giant Microsoft has discounted the price of Surface Pro 4 (128GB ROM, 4GB RAM, Core i5). The device is now available for $999 ($280 off). The original price of the SP4 was 1,279.
The tablet sports a 12.3-inch display with 2736 x 1824 pixel resolution. Other features include 5-megapixel front shooter and a 8-megapixel primary camera, according a Digital Trends report.
The $20 off the first year of Office 365 Home edition, $500 off on select PCs and $50 off the Microsoft Band 2 are some of the other deals.
