Ahead of the release of episode 755, "One Piece" producer Toie Animation has already hinted that Dogstorm will be appearing in the upcoming episode. The entertainment company also introduced the voice behind the said character. Dogstorm will be voiced by Takaya Hashi, a 63-year old talent who had various voice acting roles in the past.
Hashi has been known to portray mid-aged and old characters and had voice acting stints in numerous anime series such as "Fist of the North Star," "Fafner" and "The Vision of Escaflowne," Morning News USA reported. The description may give fans an idea of how Dogstorm's voice would be like.
Duke Dogstorm, also known as Inuarashi in Japanese, is a canine mink and one of the rulers of the Mokomo Dukedom. Before becoming one of the leaders of the said kingdom, he first served under the Kozuki Oden and was a member of the Whitebeard Pirates and the Roger Pirates.
At the Mokomo Dukedom, he is known as the "ruler of day" which starts from 6 AM to 6 PM. A resident of the Zou island, which was once landed by the Straw Hat Pirates, he is the strongest fighter on Zou and is twice as tall as Roronoa Zoro.
Part of the abilities of the minks, Dogstorm can also use Electro. To control this technique, he uses a rapier which allows him to channel it.
Aside from this ability, the "Ruler of Day" is also strong enough that he was able to fight on even terms with Jack. He also possesses some durability and endurance.
Since "One Piece" anime series seem to not stop with its airing, episode 755 of the said TV show was already out in the United States last Sept. 3, Fandom Post reported. The series has already reached the 700 mark and is expected to release more episodes as the Dressrosa arc have already concluded.
"One Piece" is now starting with the Zou arc and is anticipated to be fully engaged with the new chapter. The author has previously said in an interview that the anime series is almost nearing its completion.
