"Blacklist" actor Ryan Eggold teased in a recent interview what may be in store for his character, Tom, in the upcoming season of the TV series. According to the cast member, Tom will be experiencing tough times as he tries to look for Liz.
During his interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 32-year old actor confirmed Liz is not the only one facing unfortunate events when the new season premieres. Eggold described his character will be debuting in the season inside a locked trunk where he will be struggling to get out.
Despite this, the actor further confirmed it will not be long before Tom gets out of the situation. He will gain his freedom and eventually reunite with Liz. Eggold further justified that nothing is going to stop his character to find Liz as they have already been given as chance to unite and be a family together.
Meanwhile, Netflix will be allowing some fans to catch up with the series before the new season airs. Fans can binge watch season 3 of "Blacklist" this week as it premieres on Sept. 7, Newsweek reported. Aside from this, recently concluded season of other TV shows will also be aired on the network.
In can be recalled last season 3 that main protagonist, Liz, came to know who really is her father, which happened to be Alexander. Liz tried to fake her death with the help of Mr. Kaplan in order to protect her family. She also used this plan to take Agnes out of the country, beyond the reach of Red.
Unfortunately, Alexander abducted Liz and told her he is his father. Red, who thought Liz was already dead, planned to take down Kirk as revenge. The former framed Alexander by stealing all the money he donated to Senator Diaz. He also ordered the politician to reveal Kirk's dirty business.
To cap the season off, instead of getting away from Kirk. Tom accidentally led the former to their whereabouts. The upcoming season of "Blacklist" already hinted that Liz will be hunted by Red.
