Jaden Smith is not dead. He is alive and doing well. An internet death hoax has gone viral and it claims that the "Karate Kid" star is dead after he attempted suicide.
According to Mirror UK, the viral death hoax suggests that Hollywood actor uploaded a video on his Facebook account before he committed suicide. The rumour suggests that the video contains a goodbye message from the actor to his father, Will Smith.
The abovementioned news website reveals that in order to view the news, "the viral hoax requires permission to post on the user's page on the social media site" and it leads to a fake link. The hoax has been going viral for weeks now.
This is not the first time Jaden Smith death hoax has surfaced. Such celebrity death hoaxes have been going viral multiple times in past few years. The link apparently contains appealing headline and a picture of the actor, which makes the information look credible.
According to the publication, Jaden Smith is yet to respond to the rumours. However, the actor "has been seen out and about."
Jaden Smith is not the only celebrity who has been the subject of a death hoax. In the past, Miley Cyrus, Jack Black, Sylvester Stallone and Angelina Jolie have also become the victim of celebrity death hoaxes.
Celebrity news publication Hollywood Life reveals that Jaden Smith was seen hanging out with his rumoured girlfriend Sarah Snyder in Manhattan, New York on Saturday, Sept. 10. The website has published pictures of the alleged couple together.
At the same time, the website claims that the actor has been active on social media all this time. Unfortunately, fans continue to be fooled and death hoax got viral.
In addition, Daily Mail is reporting that Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder visited Gigi Hadid's apartment in New York City where they met Kendall Jenner. All this happened before they attended Hood by Air fashion show together for Fashion week.
