"Final Fantasy XV" will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 29 for Japan as announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The Japan version is dubbed "Final Fantasy XV Lunar Edition."
Square Enix noted the "Luna" edition will land alongside the game in Japan price of 40,000 yen, the same amount as the higher-capacity version of the slimline console.
In addition, Sony also announced two new Vlta colors, launching in Japan on Dec. 1. The said price will include a copy of "Final Fantasy XV," an original theme and a rental for "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV."
The makers of "Final Fantasy XV" made the announcement of the first limited-edition thinner, lighter PS4 in a midst of a never-ending tale of limited editions, spin-off movies, anime and more, Engadget reported.
Meanwhile, Square Enix revealed that "Final Fantasy XV" will feature new weapons, PC, Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Pro versions. And also there will be no Nintendo X version of the game.
Recently, Square Enix showcased several screenshots of "Final Fantasy XV" that shows Noctis using firearms such as assault rifles, handguns and even a sniper rifle.
Noctis will also wield several Machinery class weapons such as the Assault Attack, which makes him fire shockwaves, and has a special attack that rounds foes up to defeat them in a batch. The other machinery weapon is named the Circular Saw, which allows Noctis to cut enemies in haft, VG 24/7 reported.
Sony has been hitting the press with new info and details every now and then. The company announced the new update PlayStation 4 console dubbed "PS4 Pro" as it revealed a list of games that are included in the console such as "inFamous: Second Son," "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "Uncharted 4: The Thief Desenlace," "inFamous First Light," "Call of Duty: Black Ops III," "Middle-earth: Shadow of Morder," "Paragon," "For Honor," "Final Fantasy XV," "Spider-Man," "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands," "Watch Dogs 2," "Steep," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Dishonored 2" and "Killing Floor 2".
Game director Hajime Tabata once said that he and Square Enix will look into porting "Final Fantasy XV" into the new PS4 Pro and also the Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio console.
Square Enix looks to put "Final Fantasy XV" on the PC platform soon as Tabata noted that the PC version is still under consideration, and they are focusing on promoting finishing and releasing the sequel on the consoles.
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
