"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" star Alexis Bledel recently opened up about the three men that her character Rory will reunite with in the spinoff.
While speaking with US Weekly, the actress said that there will be some sort of closure between Rory and Dean Forester (Jared Padalecki), Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia) and Logan Huntzberger (Matt Czuchry).
"I think there is a satisfying closure for any fans of any of the three couples that tend to get some attention. But they're very different interactions. I would say each one of them gets closure in a different way," she said.
Meanwhile, Bledel said that each of the four episodes in the Netflix spinoff will unveil more information about Rory's life ever since she worked as a reporter. With all of the travel perks she received, Rory wasn't able to plant her roots anywhere.
"She has been working hard, as she does. She started her work as a journalist at the same time that newspapers were going away. Her field changed dramatically as she was kind of getting up and running. So that's where we pick up with her. It's real time, so it's been about eight years that she's been living a bit of a vagabond lifestyle, kind of chasing each story that she becomes passionate about and wants to tell," she explained.
In other news, Rory and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) will have tons of scenes together. According to Bledel, her onscreen mom would mourn the death of her dad Richard (Edward Herrmann) for quite some time.
"I would say not much has changed for Lorelai in the reboot, which is kind of where we start our story because she's maybe had a case of slight arrested development and something about losing her dad is going to propel her forward. But in most ways, in all the ways I loved the character, its' the same," she said.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will premiere on Netflix on Nov. 25.
