New details for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" will feature a new game map and co-op commander, as well as a possible paid DLC soon.
Blizzard Entertainment launched a new patch update for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" as the new will introduce a new game map and co-op commander character. The new map is called "Mist Opportunities" will be available in the game's Co-op Missions, along with the new commander Alarak.
The new map requires players to aid Egon Stetmann, who is stranded on Bel’shir since before the fall of Arcturus Mengsk. Player will help Egon harvesting terrazine gas and protect his automated Harvesting Bots during this new mission.
In addition, players can now create their own Co-op Mission challenges in "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void", which is up to only ten mutators. Custom Mutators mode is only available to pre-made two-player parties and Commanders must be level five or higher to be usable in this mode.
There is also a new "Testing" Matchmaker in the game and the Contender list now only displays players who are eligible for promotion into Grandmaster.
Lastly, worker and army unit counts are now displayed in "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" when hovering the mouse cursor over the Supply icon in the top-right corner of the in-game UI, VG 24/7 reported.
In other new, several rumors are making rounds regarding a paid DLC feature in "StarCraft 2" very soon as Blizzard Entertainment begun conducting surveys online through email.
Several PC users from the "StarCraft 2" Subreddit website posted the one of the posters in the online survey.
According to the survey, PC users are asked how they feel towards paying for voice packs, emojis, and unit skins. A deluxe Stalker skin was featured on the survey, alongside carbot emojis and voice pack for highlord of the Tal’darim, Alarak. The survey asked about interest in voice packs for Raynor, Alarak, Morgan Freeman, David Kim, Artosis, Snoop Dogg, and several others.
The prices for the voice packs, emojis and unit skins revealed to be at $3.99, emoticons (10) $2.49, and the unit skins cost around $3.99.
It is unknown yet as to when will Blizzard introduce the paid DLC for "StarCraft 2" Legacy of the Void", but with the result of thr surveys, the developers might deliver something good for PC gamers.
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" is currently available for the PC.
