Finally, Xiaomi has unveiled its most awaited new smartphone's, Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus in China. Both the smartphones have generated 3 million registrations in 24 hours.
Even though registrations are not same as pre-orders, consumers anticipation for the newly announced flagships. Although 3 million customers have registered for it, it is yet to known how many people have pre-ordered them, Android Geeks reported. The pre-orders of Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s have started on Sept. 29 in China.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Specifications, Price
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a full metal unibody design with curved edges. It will be available in four color variants such as Silver, Gray, Gold and Rose Gold.
It comes with a 5.15- inch IPS LCD screen with 600nits that offers maximum brightness. It has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with 428 ppi density. Only the 128 GB internal storage model of Mi 5s has 3D pressure-sensitive screen that offers 3D touch feature that is available in iPhone.
Xiaomi Mi 5s is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. It comes in two variants such as 64 GB internal storage with 3 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage with 4 GB of RAM.
It runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with MIUI. It has 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX 378 sensor and dual-LED flash. Its front camera is of 4-megapixel that supports the full HD recording.
The Mi 5s has fingerprint sensor on home key that is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon Sense ID technology that features an ultrasonic sensor. It can scan the fingerprint even even fingers are dirty, greasy or wet. It also features a USB Type-C port. This smartphone is packed with 3,200 mAh capacity battery along with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.support.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s is already available in China with the price tag of 1,999 Yuan (around $299.58) for 64 GB storage variant. The other variant is priced at 2,299 Yuan (around $344.54).

Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also features a full metal unibody design with curved edges and is available in color choices such as Silver, Gray, Gold and Rose Gold.It is fitted with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD Quad HD display that delivers a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with 386 ppi pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. Like its smaller sibling, it is also available in two variants of internal storage such as 64 GB with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB with GB RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS flavored with MIUI. A 13-megapixel dual camera of Sony sensor for high depth quality pictures is situated at the rear side of phone with LED flash light. It has 4-megapixel front facing camera too for selfie shoot.
It also features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor as well at the rear side under the dual camera setup.A USB Type-C slot is also available on the device. The battery capacity of this smartphone is 3,800 mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is launched in China with the price tag of 2,299 Yuan (around $344.54) for 64 GB internal storage model and 2,599 Yuan (around $389) for 128 GB internal storage model, MIUI reported..
Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is currently available in China. The international launch of both the smartphones are not yet confirmed.
