The sweet angel Rory Gilmore will be in marrying age and rumors claimed that her ex-boyfriends Dean (Jared Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), and Logan (Matt Czuchry) will be back for the revival, which sparked speculations.
There has been an ongoing debate among Team Jess vs. Team Dean vs. Team Logan. Gilmore Girls reunion stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel jumped in the bandwagon and hinted on which boy Rory will marry. Below are some of the reasons why Rory will not end up with any of his ex-boyfriends.
No ring on it
On Oct. 1, "Gilmore Girls" joined the rest of the globe in celebrating World Coffee Day. Lorelie and Rory were known coffee addicts. They were often emulated by fans for their addiction. In an Instagram post, the two girls were holding their oversized coffee cups. It can be seen that Rory's left hand has no ring on it, which indicates that she is neither engaged nor married.
They will get their closure
Previous teasers revealed that all of the boys will get their closure with Rory. This implies that they will make peace with her. The three ex-boyfriends ended their relationship with Rory in a bad note.
Alexis' statement
Bledel "didn't even think about" who Rory could end up with at the end of the four-part revival. "I was wondering what [Rory] had accomplished in her career. I wanted there to be a payoff after all her hard work. She set so many goals and had been so ambitious academically. That's what I wanted to know," she said.
Jared Padalecki and Milo Ventimiglia roles
Actor Jared Padalecki spilled some hints that his character, Dean Forester, will not end up with one of the heroines of the popular TV show. "There will always be some fans who are unhappy, but I think they'll be pleased with it," Padalecki told Us Weekly. This is clearly a hint that Dean's fans may be unhappy that Dean and Rory will not be back together.
"It was fun. I wanted to be a bigger part - I think they wanted me to be a bigger part of it as well. But it was shot during 'Supernatural,' so I only did one day. But in that one day, it was a really good amount of stuff I got to do, and explained a lot," he added.
Meanwhile, Milo Ventimiglia tweeted to Mandy Moore calling her his television wife. This implied that Alexis Bledel is not his TV wife despite their dating history.
It seems that Rory will stay single in all the four episodes. However, spoilers implied that a big wedding is happening although it is still unknown who will tie the knot.
All four episodes of Gilmore Girls reunion will be back in November 25 in Netflix.
