Fans will not be disappointed when "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 returns for its final run. The final season is full of mysteries, revelations and twists that would bring back old themes and characters.
One feature of " The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is that each title of the episode was taken from a line from the initial season. The series showrunner Julie Plec also teased that the final season will be bringing important events and characters such as Founder's Day and Miss Mystic Falls in the fold.
"This season is all about finally telling the stories that we've talked about over the years but have never seen," Plec told Entertainment Weekly. "In fact, we're shooting [a flashback] right now. And this one in particular is the time where Stefan was known as the Ripper of Monterey, so we'll get a little glimpse of that world, which we're all very excited about."
The events and characters such as decades dances, Founder's Day, the carnival and Miss Mystic Falls that had marked the show in Season 2 are making a comeback in "TheVampire Diaries" Season 8. One of the most talked about part of the new season is the steamy moment between Caroline (Candice King) and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley).
Surely, it is the scene that "Steroline" fans have been waiting for a long time. However, it would be a big question whether their new relationship would last as it has been speculated that their romance would be put into test.
It seems that Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will get in the way between Caroline and Stefan, knowing the latter has been always watching over his brother Damon. Stefan prioritizes Damon above anything, and he is going to do everything to save his brother, who is now being possessed by the evil. This part of "TheVampire Diaries" Season 8 is something that viewers need to see whether "Steroline's" romance will ever make it or not.
More about Stefan in "TheVampire Diaries" Season 8 and bringing back the things that the series have talked about and never been seen, it would be the first time that fans will witness Stefan as a ripper, a bloodthirsty vampire who is attacking the necks of the victims, according to Wet Paint. However, Plec reassured that Stefan the Ripper will only be seen in a flashback mode.
"The Vampire Diaries" will air on Oct. 21, Friday, at 8 p.m. on The CW. Watch Season 8 official trailer:
