Blizzard could be planning to develop new features for "Hearthstone" based on a new survey as the company recently dished out nerfs for certain cards to balance the competitive gameplay.
"Hearthstone" is still slowly evolving throughout the several seasons it has lasted through in order to bring the best possible experience across all of its players. Just recently, it has changed the effects and requirements of several cards in order to keep things as balanced as possible.
The developer is also reportedly sending out surveys to players for feedback regarding some planned features for the game. Reddit user Scaveola posted some screenshots of the "Hearthstone "survey which shows that there could be more features for the Standard mode in the future, Touch Arcade has learned.
Possible New Hearthstone Features
Some of the possible things that players can expect in future "Hearthstone" updates include a campaign mode and the highly-anticipated tournament mode. There could also be an offline mode which is currently impossible even if the player just wants to battle against the artificial intelligence program.
Blizzard already made changes with the new update such as nerfed and buffed cards but there have been no new game modes yet, Mobile & Apps reported. One of the most controversial nerfs was for the Yogg-Sagron card effect which will now deactivate once the card is out of the card field.
There are also other possible features in the future Hearthstone updates such as more chat capabilities and the inclusion of Guild or Clans. Players could also want better matchmaking algorithms which could be based on the cards that they have instead of the number of wins.
Another interesting feature could be a more in-depth in-game help for building decks. Currently, players need to go out of their way and to search for viable decks online instead of just trusting the "Hearthstone" built-in guide system.
Not all "Hearthstone" players have been sent an email regarding the survey and it could just be based on several regions. Blizzard could announce their plans in the upcoming BlizzCon 2016 event starting in November where visitors can get free in-game "Hearthstone" goodies as well.
