Fans of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" are in for a treat. Creator Scott Cawthon recently announced that a new downloadable content (DLC) will be released to extend the fun in the survival horror game.
On Oct. 17, Monday, Cawthon announced on his official website that a new DLC, titled "Custom Night," will be added to the survival horror game soon. The said DLC is intended to offer new exciting things to the players.
The upcoming "Custom Night" DLC will be automatically added to "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" as soon as Cawthon finished it. He also clarified that the said update will not influence the whole storyline of the game.
Since it is not part of the game's story mode, players can access it through the Extras menu and play it as often as they like. Unfortunately, players who have 3-stars status can only enjoy the free "Custom Night" DLC.
It is important to note that players can only have a 3-star status if they can successfully complete the game's endings. Interestingly, players can expect two endings, where getting the right one will depend on their choices while playing the game.
In order to get the right ending, players should not use the keycard reward and should potentially pass the mini-game in "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." Doing so would guide players to the fake ending that would send the kindhearted animatronic Circus Baby to the scooping room, according to a Steam user.
Though the creator wanted to release the free "Custom Night" DLC before Halloween, it seems that it will take a little longer before he finishes it. Nonetheless, Cawthon assured players that the new update will be released at some point in December.
"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" was released on Oct. 7 for Microsoft Windows. Players can also expect to see the survival horror game in Android and iOS devices starting Oct. 26.
