From movies to real life, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stones were the definition of couple goals after meeting on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man." The couple, however, broke up in 2015, but it appears that love is still in the air for the two.
Stone and Garfield, known to many of their fans as "Stonefield," were spotted together in London in August, sparking rumors that they've rekindled their romance. According to E! News, the former couple was seen going on a walk together, smiling and laughing.
"There is definitely still love for each other there. They remain close and are on good terms," a source told E!
Neither Stone's or Garfield's representatives confirmed or denied their getting back together; however, Stone's recent interview with Vogue is a tell-tale sign that she's still very much in love with her former beau.
In Vogue's November issue, Stone revealed that she still cares very deeply about Garfield. "[He's] someone I still love very much," Stone shared. In Vogue's rapid fire "73 Questions" segment, the 27-year-old actress made it clear that "The Amazing Spider-Man" still holds a very dear spot in her heart. When asked who her favorite superhero is, Emma answers, "It is still Spider-Man."
Stone and Garfield broke up in 2015 due to their busy schedules. They had been dating for 4 years. "They have been really busy, so they finally have had time to see each other again. They care for each other and always have the best time when together," a source revealed.
In a 2014 interview with Vogue, Stone referred to Garfield as an "incredibly important" person to her and that she learned a lot from him.
Around the time of the break up, Garfield was in Taiwan filming the upcoming Martin Scorsese film "Silence." The actor was reportedly in a "dark place for months, getting into his role," which is one of the contributing factors to the break up.
Prior to their break up, a source revealed that they were privately discussing marriage.
In the meantime, Stone stars in "The La La Land" will Ryan Gosling. Garfield's movie, "Silence," will premiere in theaters on Dec. 23.
