Bandai Namco has announced that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has a new character added to the Road to Boruto expansion. The new character will join Team Konohamaru, which is exclusive to the expansion.
According to the official website of the video game, the developers have confirmed that Mitsuki will be coming to the game. He is the son of Orochimaru and a vital team member of Team Konohamaru. He will get a unique set of attacks and an Ultimate Jutsu, which will have similarities to his father.
Mitsuki will join his teammates Boruto and Sarada, which are all confirmed characters of the Road to Boruto expansion pack. The three members will get a new Team Ultimate Jutsu attack that will combine some of their Ninjutsu arts and skills.
The new expansion will add a storyline that features the arc of Boruto and Sarada. The Hidden Leaf Village location will get new areas for players to try out. It will also add familiar scenes like the battle between Sasuke and Kinshiki from the anime movie.
Owners of the video game are warned that the new expansion will not be covered by its Season Pass. They will purchase the expansion if they want to have the new characters and the other content that it adds into the game.
The developers confirmed that there will be a full edition for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" Road to Boruto to purchase. This new edition will include the base game, all of the three DLCs that have been released already, and the new expansion Road to Boruto. The released DLCs are two adventure mode scenarios, the new costumes for the game, and the Sound Four Ninjas.
According to another post on the official website of the video game, the Road to Boruto will be available on Feb. 3, 2017. It will be available on the PlayStation 4, Steam, and Xbox One as an expansion to the base game. Bandai Namco said that they will share more information about more additional playable characters and more content until it is launched.
