Samsung may be close to releasing the Galaxy Tab S3 but the specs and features have not been revealed yet which lead to many searching for answers across the Internet.
The South Korean tech giant has not yet announced the existence of the Galaxy Tab S3 itself but there are many leaks and rumors pertaining to its specs and release date. It has been one complete hardware cycle since Samsung released the previous Galaxy Tab which means that they should be releasing one soon.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Specs
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, Mobile & Apps has learned. Samsung could choose to just build it on one Exynos chip or use the Snapdragon for international versions if they wish.
Both variants would have 4GB RAM for multitasking needs of the user. There are also reports claiming that there will be two versions of the tablet with one having 32GB while the other will have 64GB.
Samsung could also use just an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera for the Galaxy Tab S3, Trusted Reviews reported. There are also expectations that it would use the new USB Type-C connectors instead of the usual microUSB that has been used for several years now.
In terms of the battery life, there has been an upward trend in the battery capacities of the Galaxy Tab devices. The original Galaxy Tab had 4900mAh while the previous Tab S2 9.7 had 5870mAh.
Now, some expect that the Galaxy Tab S3 will have at least 6000mAh for the base model. System on chips have become more efficient at using power which means there will be more battery life in the long run.
Wireless charging could also be supported with the new tablet from Samsung. Their Galaxy S7 Edge already supports the technology which could be carried over to the tablet version.
Samsung could unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 before the year ends as they would want to take advantage of the holiday season for more sales. Excited fans should just wait for the announcement from the South Korean tech company.
