Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S8 is already on the way despite their recent failure with the Galaxy Note 7 but the new flagship phone is set to stun the world.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs
There has been no confirmation yet of the new flagship smartphone's specs and features but the leaks and rumors have already been pretty convincing. Some even expect that the Galaxy S8's screen would finally have 4K resolution thanks to Samsung's new Bio Blue screen.
Samsung Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong said that the Galaxy S8 will have a "slick design" and a better camera compared to its predecessors, WCCFTech has learned. There are no details given yet but it could have more megapixels for the camera compared to the Galaxy S7.
Other rumored specs include the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor and Exynos 8895 for either the local or the international variants. RAM is expected to hit at least 6GB considering that it would be an upgrade over the previous ones.
The size of the Super AMOLED or Bio Blue screen is expected to be 5.5-inches. If the Bio Blue screen will be used, there could be a high chance that it would have 4K resolution instead of QHD which is just 1440p.
Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy S8 will have better AI and Galaxy Note 7 users will have an option to trade it in for the new flagship smartphone, TechCrunch reported. The exact details of the promo have not been defined yet but it is expected to be cleared up in 2017.
Storage could still start at 32GB and the largest variant could be set at 256GB. There could also be a better fingerprint sensor which could be faster and more accurate.
Actual details of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is not expected until next year. Some believe that it could be unveiled at the MWC 2017 event or even at CES 2017.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be more expensive then the Galaxy S7 as it is could have just one edged variant. More details expected soon once Samsung unveils or teases the device specs and features.
