It is not just Chinese bridesmaid who are the subject of rude, if not sometimes fatal pranks by friends of the couple. A recent incident showed that the bride herself was harassed on her honeymoon.
To make the situation more pathetic for the newlywed woman, her husband did nothing while male guests entered the room where the couple were supposed to spend their first night together. The intruder than pulled the duvet which covered the bride.
This resulted in exposing the poor woman to the intruders since she was just wearing underwear, Daily Star reported. Not content with ripping the red duvet, the two men attempted to strip her naked by pulling her bra and underwear down.
She kept screaming and had to climb down the bed. Unfortunately for her, the groom showed he is a wimp by just sitting while the two male intruders – apparently his friends – demanded they watch the couple have their first intercourse with them watching it as entertainment.
The incident was filmed and shared in Chinese social media LiveLeak which gained a lot of negative comments. A netizen called the husband a coward for allowing the sexual harassment to be done on his wife. Another said the matrimony should not be called a wedding but a weirding.
Besides the abuse on bridesmaids, some brides also suffered insult such as one whose groom had sex with guests during the wedding party. Another bride’s breast was groped by wedding guests.
A year ago, some of the groomsmen threw a bride in Zaozhuang during the wedding banquet, but they failed to catch her. The woman instead land on the ground and hit her head first, causing the bride to suffer from slight concussion and slipped into coma but eventually recovered.
Daily Mail reported she was rushed to the Tengzhou People’s Hospital still wearing her wedding dress.
