The latest details and spoilers for "The Flash" live-action film will feature Iris West appearing in "Justice League" and several directors to helm the movie.
"Dope" director Rick Famuyiwa has left "The Flash" live-action movie due to creative differences with him and Warner Bros. The loss at this stage in pre-production will likely delay "The Flash" live-action film for some time, as the search for his replacement begins.
Fortunately, The Hollywood Reporter made a list of directors who could possibly helm "The Flash" movie such as "Punisher: Warzone" director Lexi Alexander, DC TV showrunner Greg Berlanti, "Straight Outta Compton" director F. Gary Gray, "Deadpool" director Tim Miller and "Avengers" director Joss Whedon.
Famuyiwa made a statement during his departure from "The Flash" live-action film stating that he still grateful for the opportunity that Warner Bro. gave him in handling the project form its pre-production stage and will continue to work hard in his craft for future projects soon.
In other news, its seems that another DC character will be appearing in the "Justice League" film as Barry Allen/The Flash's (Ezra Miller) love interest Iris West (Kiersey Clemons) will have a cameo appearance.
The news came from a tweet by Variety reporter Justin Kroll, however, given the recent/potential changes that the film will undergo, he has shed some more light on the situation. With the film’s production already wrapped, Clemons has already completed her "Justice League cameo", but that does not necessarily mean that she will for certain stay on.
The importance of Clemon's cameo is unknown at this point, but if she decides to walk, director Zack Snyder would simply cut the scene out, find a way to work around it and/or recast the role of Iris West, Screenrant reported.
Previous reports revealed Mashable reporter Jeff Sneider tweeted that Captain Cold and Golden Glider will be present in "The Flash" movie and will likely bring the Rogues with them. The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzales claimed that the Rogues will added to the DC Extended Universe, since they are Barry's enemies in the comic books.
It is rumored that Leonard Snart will be alongside Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash in the film as his personal enforcer and that "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum is being eyed for the role.
The Flash will appear first in "Justice League" on Nov. 17, 2017, and his solo film is on March 16, 2018.
