A 31-year-old male secondary school teacher in Hong Kong entered on Thursday a guilty plea to sexual intercourse and indecently assaulting three minor students. With his admission of his crimes with the High Court, the man faces jail term.
He admitted to five counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and three counts of indecent assault. It was actually a 14-year-old female student who approached the chemistry teacher and invited him to have a meal on March 1, 2014, South China Morning Post reported.
After the meal, they went to his house, talked, hugged and kissed. The student told her teacher she liked him, and they entered into a relationship. They had sex a month after in a rented room at a Lamma Island guest house. Since then, they were intimate at the student’s house and another guest house in Mui Wu, but they used contraception such as the pill and condoms, until May 2015.
After four months, another female student, 14, told the teacher she liked him, and after they went out, they became lovers on their second date. But in July 2015, while watching a movie, the teacher placed his hand in her underwear which led to a break up.
The second student told her friend, a 15-year-old female student, what happened. In the same month, it was the third student the teacher was seeing. When she once visited him home, he allegedly kissed and molested the third student. They had sex, but she gave in only because she was frightened by the Christian teacher’s request.
Two weeks ago, he suggested to the second student for a breakup, who, in turn, reported him to another teacher on the same day.
Justice Andrew Chan Hing-wai adjourned sentencing until Nov. 21, while experts are preparing the psychiatric and psychological reports on the teacher.
According to The Standard, unlawful sexual intercourse with minors is punishable with five years jail term.
