With the announcement of "One Punch Man" season 2 in 2017, anime fans are excited to see the return of the "Strongest Hero" Saitama in his wild and crazy adventures as hero.
It is still unknown as what is the plot of "One Punch Man" season 2" as several rumored reports and fan speculations hinted that Saitama will not just face one, but three evil villains in anime, as well as covering two major arcs from the anime's manga.
However, Twitter username MotoGP Update tweeted that the plot for "One Punch Man" season 2 could be the "Garou" arc. The "Garou" arc or the "Hero Hunt" arc will feature Saitama's encounter with S-Class Rank 3 Bang/Silver Fang's student Garou.
Silver Fang took Garou in his dojo and trained him the "Water Stream Rock" style of martial arts. As a child, Garou rooted for villains instead of heroes and took out almost every student in the dojo to demonstrate his power. Silver Fang had no choice, but to exile Garou from his dojo as the latter learned different martial arts styles to increase his power.
Garou will have an instant dislike towards Saitama when they meet during the "Hero Hunt" arc.
Meanwhile, rumors are making rounds that "One Punch Man" season 2 could likely see the true source of Saitama's power.
A-Class rank one hero Amai Mask has been hinted to be the one to discover Saitama's god-like power as he shows an interest on the hero and use the power for his own agenda, MovieNewsGuide reported.
Amai Mask is powerful and popular hero, who also works as an actor and singer. Amai Mask believes that heroes should be a perfect example to the public and if the heroes cannot protect them, they must strive to be stronger.
However, underneath his heroic popularity, he has a darker personality, believing that "evil" should be exterminated quickly as he mercilessly killed the capture crew of the Dark Matter Thieves without giving it a second thought.
Amai Mask also mocked the rest of the S-Class heroes for their "failure" in saving City A and statetd that the only reason he stayed as number one in the A-Class because he believes that those who are worthy of an S-class shoud get it and he will decides if the hero is worthy enough to earn the title.
"One Punch Man" season 2 may feature more than 12 episodes than the previous season due to the manga series having nine volumes.
In addition, a mobile game based from the anime will be in the works soon, AnimeNewsNetwork reported.
"One Punch Man" season 2 will launch sometime in 2017.
