"Chicago Fire" Season 5, episode 5 not airing tonight
Due to changes in the schedule, episode 5 will not hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016. The show is taking a break.
"Chicago Fire" Season 5, episode 5 will air on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016.
According to the official synopsis, Casey and Severide have a disagreement over the cause of the fire in a house. Casey fails to save the woman who is stuck in the house.
Meanwhile, Herrmann is after a mystery tagger who is a threat to the firehouse. Brett and Dawson head to the scene when a teen boy is wounded during a romantic proposal.
Recently, Monica Raymund, who plays Dawson in the show, talked to E! Online at the One Chicago celebration. She teased that Casey and Dawson might be ready to take the next step in their relationship.
"Casey and I are now really committed to each other and we feel like we're family, and I think we're going to see some really amazing stories from the both of them," Raymund said.
"We actually make a commitment to each other in a way that I think the fans will be very excited about," the actress added.

"Casey is unable to save a woman from a burning house; and he and Severide disagree over the fire's cause. Also: Herrmann is out to catch a mystery tagger who's targeting the firehouse; Boden receives a surprise visitor; and Dawson and Brett respond when a teen boy is injured during a romantic homecoming proposal," reads the official synopsis.
