The latest details and spoilers for the "Justice League" movie will feature Shazam's possible debut in the DC Extended Universe and a new trailer coming soon.
It seems that DC Comics teased a new trailer for the "Justice League" live-action film during this weeks DC All-Access episode as they promote the "Suicide Squad Extended Cut" DVD. While details on as when and where will the new trailer will show up, it is speculated that the new "Justice League" movie trailer could be out during "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them" opening this week, while other reports suggest that it could be next month during "Rogue One", Screenrant reported.
The first "Justice League" movie trailer was first shown in this year's San Diego Comic Con event as the teaser featured Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) searching the globe for the metahumans that were found in Lex Luthor's (Jesse Eisenberg) metahuman thesis files. With the help of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Bruce tries to convince Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to help them protect the planet from the invading forces of Apokolips led by Darkseid's uncle Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds).
The forces of Apokolips will be coming to earth to retrieve three Mother Boxes and they are said to be found in Atlantis, Theymiscra and somewhere on earth albeit in Cyborg's body.
In other news, rumors are making rounds regarding another DC character making a cameo appearance in the "Justice League" movie.
It has been hinted that Green Lantern might show up in the film and now Billy Batson/Shazam could be joining him soon. "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum is rumored to play the role of Shazam in the DC Extended Universe along with other rumored actors such as Emily Blunt, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Chastain and many more, ScreenGeek reported.
Although Tatum was also heavily hinted to play Leonard Snart/Captain Cold in the live-action "The Flash" film opposite Ezra Miller.
For now it is unknown as to what purpose will Shazam have on the "Justice League" film.
Miller previously teased the dynamice relationship his character The Flash will have on Batman in the film as he explained that both characters have quiet the chemistry were in Barry is naive and excited, while Bruce is experienced and jaded.
As seen in the teaser trailer of "Justice League", Barry impulsively agreed to join Bruce's team despite the latter explaining to him the gravity of situation and how dangerous it could be. Miller described it as seeing each other as reflections of one another and being amused and maybe sometimes annoyed by one another. Bruce and Barry will get a kick out of each other because they are seeing sort of themselves, but reflected in this very warped mirror.
Miller added that Bruce's experience has made him shut down and having seen the horrors of being a hero changed him greatly becoming a veteran, while Barry is still grasping the thick of it which will be interesting to see as they both learn from eacth other.
"Justice League" movie is scheduled on Nov. 17, 2017, while the sequel will launch on June 14, 2019.
