Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 release is reportedly happening early next year and the tech giant is hyping the smartphone.
After the tremendous success of the Surface Pro laptops, Microsoft is not giving up the Windows Phone and will release a new line of smartphones that will be marketed to Surface users. While the exact release date of the smartphone is undisclosed yet, rumor has it that the handsets will make an appearance at the either at Consumer Electronics Show or Mobile World Congress next year.

5.5-inch quad HD display - Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 will pack 5.5 inch screen display with quad HD resolution. The smartphone will pack a bright and vivid display of 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution.
Snapdragon 835 SoC - To be at par with contemporary smartphones, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's new and uber-powerful Snapdragon 835 processor.
Windows 10 Mobile OS - Microsoft's recent achievement Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 3 will support the smartphone. This update would be much larger than the Redstone 2 update that is expected to release early 2017.
6GB RAM - Microsoft fans can expect better processing power as the smartphone will include a 6GB of RAM.
Continuum Support - Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 will include a Continuum support, which means that Surface accessories will be compatible with the Windows Phone.
Quick charge - The Windows Phone will include a Quick Charge 4.0 feature that can provide the Surface Phone five hours of power from just five minutes of charge.
Three variants - Microsoft will release three variants of the upcoming Surface Phone. There is a possibility that one of the phones will be a high end, one is a hybrid or a deluxe version, and one is a mid-range handset.
