Kim So-Hyun, who recently portrayed Kim Hyun-Ji in tvN's "Let's Fight, Ghost," mentioned one particular actor she has always wanted to work with. Recently, the 17-year-old actress said he wanted to work with veteran actor Yoo Hae-Jin in the future.
On Nov. 29, Tuesday, @star1 magazine released Kim's recent pictorial for its December issue. Displaying an aura of sophistication, the Hallyu star sported a white polo top and paired it with some fitted jeans.
In the accompanying interview with the magazine, as cited by The Kpop Herald, Kim revealed she would like to work with the "Fatal Intuition" actor and learn from him. She explained, "I think I lack the skills to carry a whole movie by myself. That's why I want to work with Yoo Hae-Jin and learn."
Kim also complimented her "Let's Fight Ghost" co-star Ok Taecyeon for his sense of humor and positive attitude at work. She recounted how the 2PM member would joke around the drama filming set.
"At first I was nervous because I didn't know (Ok) Taecyeon very well but that changed once we started filming," Kim recounted. "He is overflowing with positive energy and he jokes around a lot. I think we share that positive energy, and our sense of humor is also similar."
Following the tvN drama, Kim will be seen sharing screen space with Yoo Seung-Ho and Infinite's L in "Ruler: Master of the Mask," an upcoming historical drama to be directed by Son Hyeong-Seok. In the show, Kim will play Lee Ga-Eun, who has a strong sense of justice and high intelligence. She attempts to take revenge on Crown Prince Lee Sun (Seung-Ho) for beheading her father, but ends up falling in love with him.
Many Hallyu fans are anticipating the premiere of the "Ruler: Master of the Mask" since it marks Seung-Ho's comeback to the TV screen since 2015's "Remember - War of the Son." Further, it is believed that the new MBC drama is bound to inspire comparisons to KBS 2TV's "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds."
The upcoming MBC series attracted comparisons to the KBS 2TV's hit show, as both are Joseon historical dramas with young lead actors born in 1993 (Park Bo-Gum and Seung-Ho) and 1999 (Kim Yoo-Jung and So-Hyun), as per local newsoutlet Naver.
