PlayStation Experience 2016 gave avid gamers a peek at some of the upcoming gaming titles to hit the market. Some of the best game trailers previewed at the event included "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," "The Last of Us Part 2" and more.
The PlayStation Experience 2016 Keynote event revealed some of the games that Sony and other game developers have been working on. Two of Naughty Dog's upcoming games were even identified as some of the best game trailers previewed at the said event, according to Forbes.
'Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" offers avid fans of the said gaming franchise a chance to embark on a new adventure. With game character Chloe Frazer set as the protagonist for Naughty Dog's upcoming game, players will also see other familiar faces such as the mercenary Nadine Ross.
The two ladies will form a partnership in the upcoming "Uncharted" game as Chloe and Nadine search for an ancient Indian artifact. Despite the game set for release as a stand-alone title, "Uncharted 4" Season Pass holders can also download the game provided the said pass is purchased on or before Dec. 13.
Meanwhile, "The Last of Us Part 2" game trailer previewed at the PlayStation Experience 2016 teased the game's stunning imagery and intriguing storyline. A sequel to the hit 2013 game from Naughty Dog, the upcoming gaming title features a playable Ellie who appears to harbor revengeful thoughts on a yet to be unveiled villain.
Other games that made it to Forbes best PlayStation Experience game trailers include "The Last Guardian," "Nioh," "Persona 5" and "Horizon Zero Dawn." The mash-up game titled "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" also unveiled a graphically striking trailer, as well as "Dreadnought," "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy," "Knack 2" and more.
In other news, Naughty Dog's Creative Director Neil Druckmann gushed about "The Last of Us Part 2" in a blog posted on PlayStation 's official website. He teased of the game's "special" story to continue Ellie and Joel's "intense, harrowing and emotional "adventures.
The Naughty Dog executive also commented that the upcoming gaming title is still in its early development phase. With a promise to unveil interesting details, avid fans will soon learn more about "The Last of Us" sequel in the coming months.
