Lee Joon Gi is definitely on fire this year. After appearing as the male lead in the hit period drama "Scarlet Heart: Goryeo," the actor stars in the star-studded web drama "Seven First Kisses."
"Scarlet: Heart Goryeo" wrapped up its incredible run with high viewer rating and positive reviews. All the actors themselves are pretty proud of the work they have done. Lee Joon Gi recently shared his fondness of his character, Wang So, in an interview with a Chinese magazine.
As fans of "Scarlet: Heart Goryeo" already knows, the show had seven gorgeous princes with different personalities and capacities. Lee Joon Gi's Wang So is the fourth prince who wooed IU's Lee Ji Eun. When asked which prince he would play if given a chance to choose again, he answered that he would still pick Wang So.
"[Wang So] has a stiff personality, but he is wholeheartedly devoted to a girl, which I think makes him a very cool and handsome character," Lee Joon Gi said. He added that it gave him great satisfaction to play the character, Soompi reported.
However, Lee Joon Gi said that he would also be interested to try the ole of Wang Wook, the 8th prince, who is played by Kang Ha Neul. He explained that it's because Wang Wook is such as a romantic and a lot of viewers like him from the very beginning. Unlike Wang Wook, Lee Joon Gi's Wang So is the dark and brooding prince.
In the meantime, Lee Joon Gi stars in the mini web drama series titled "Seven First Kisses." The drama, which is produced by Lotte Duty Free, also stars Lee Cho Hee, Ji Chang Wook, Park Hae Jin, Taecyeon, Kai, Lee Jong Suk and Lee Min Ho.
"Seven First Kisses" tells the story of Min Soo Jin (Lee Cho Hee) who meets a goddess that grants her a chance to take a pick from seven handsome guys as her first kiss, according to KoreanDrama.org. Lee Joon Gi plays the handsome and romantic Church Oppa, who was introduced as the first potential boyfriend.
New episodes of "Seven First Kisses" airs every Monday and Thursday on Naver TV Cast.
