The "Legend of the Blue Sea" star Lee Min Ho may appear in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season episodes. Rumors are high that the South Korean actor may join "Game of Thrones" as a villain, who will have an encounter with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in its future episodes.
However, amidst the speculations, the HBO nor the executive producers of the show have not clarified on the matters. It is dubious to say that the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 rumor is true given that Lee is very busy with his career in his country.
As far as the latest "Game of Thrones" Season 7 casting rumors are concerned, there are no hints pointing out that Lee will be joining the popular fantasy series. Harington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would remain as part of Season 7 since they have already signed their contracts until that period, according to Digital Spy.
There are speculations that UFC fighter Conor McGregor may end an unspecified role, while "Merlin" actor Tom Hopper may play Dickon Tarly that was previously portrayed by Freddie Stroma. There are also talks about "Young Lord" and "Lovely Lady," but details about the characters have remained scarce.
Lee was never mentioned in HBO's latest announcements. Until this moment, there are no confirmed reports that Lee is included in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 cast. For now, the reports about Suzy Bae's boyfriend could be taken as a grain of salt.
Meanwhile, Lee was recently linked to Taylor Swift after the latter broke up with her British boyfriend Tom Hiddleston. The South Korean actor and the "Bad Blood" singer are both known for their romantic histories.
The rumors linking the "Boys over Flowers" star and Swift created abuzz in the international media, but just like the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 rumors, it appears that there is also no basis for the speculation. Lee is still with Suzy despite rumors that their relationship is on the rocks.
"It's ridiculous and we are taken aback," a source from Lee's agency said in a statement obtained by Soompi. "Lee Min Ho is currently overseas and focusing on acting, so it's difficult to nosily ask him about Taylor Swift."
Lee was newly chosen as the brand ambassador for Coca-Cola's canned coffee brand Georgia Gotica. His new movie "Bounty Hunters" was also a huge hit. He is currently in Spain filming "Legend Of the Blue Sea."
