"Captain America" Chris Evans might have won the highly publicized Superbowl bet last month with Chris Pratt, but this did not mean he will not dress up as his Marvel character for a "beyond superhero" cause.
On Saturday, the New England Patriots fan Evans made his promise to be "Captain America" once again to pay the Seattle Children's Hospital a visit with the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Pratt. This visit is a fulfillment of winning bet that the person, whose team in the NFL lost, would appear in his famous costume for a charitable cause of the other's choice.
Evans and Pratt surprised young patients for conversing with them, meeting their families, and taking pictures with them.
"Thanks to @Disney for all your magic to make this visit possible and for sending Captain America his suit," the Seattle Children's Hospital tweeted on Saturday.
"Meeting Captain America and Star-Lord is an experience our patients will always remember," the hospital said in another post.
"Meeting them was such a nice reprieve for all of us," a patient's mother told the hospital's official blog, the Pulse. "Most of our visitors are doctors, and our conversations are medical in nature. I could not wait to watch the superhero movie with my son. It will be more of us, knowing him personally," the mother added.
On Saturday, Pratt wore street clothes, but donned as Star Lord in his visit to Christopher's Haven, in Boston on Feb. 6, after his Seattle Seahawks lost the game to the Patriots.
