As Luca Todesco has advised, his Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak is far from the perfect state being in beta build and users run the risk of encountering bugs and issues when installing the usable but incomplete JB tool. Among the problems recently identified have to do with iMessage, FaceTime and LTE connectivity but thankfully a quick fix is already out.
Todesco said the new Yalu jailbreak at its current form is meant for developers or advanced users but there is no need to be both in order to resolve the issues mentioned above, according to WCCFTech. One will only need a Mac, a jailbroken iPhone or iPad using the Yalu JB tool, access to a secure Wi-Fi network and then follow the easy steps shared by WCCFTech on its latest news story.
Once the easy tweaks have been completed, the only thing left to do is reboot the device and for sure iMessage, FaceTime and LTE will function as they ought to be, the same report assured.
For now it remains unknown when the finalized Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak will come out so it's best for jailbreak fans to stick with what they have at the moment, which should be the semi-tethered Pangu iOS 9.2-9.3.3 jailbreak or the improved version, also from Todesco, that bypasses the certification expiry route.
As stated by WCCFTech in an earlier report, there are just too many reasons to skip the Yalu JB tool for now. Bricking one's device is a real danger and as discussed above, bugs and instability come in generous amounts with a beta jailbreak solution.
And specifically in the case of Tedesco's Yalu jailbreak, device crashes are to be expected plus the short supply of tweaks that can be used or compatible with the same jailbreak release. Another deal-breaker is the confirmation from Todesco that Yalu is an untethered solution, meaning the jailbreak process will need to be repeated every reboot of the device.
But if one is bent on jailbreaking despite the inconveniences and security risks, there are some loads of benefits to reap. For sure, a jailbroken iPhone or iPad is open for customization so users can do whatever they please with the device they purchased from control-freak Apple.
And per WCCFTech, "a jailbreak, in some cases, offers better performance and battery life compared to stock iOS," which should be compelling reasons enough to deal with the trouble still attached with the Luca Todesco Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak release.
