The latest details and spoilers for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will feature the plot of the LMD in the second haft and Daisy Johnson to become the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. soon.
The second haft of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will feature a new enemy S.H.I.E.L.D. will face after the supernatural events involving Robbie Reyes a.k.a. The Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna), Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Daisy Johnson/Quake (Chloe Bennet) and the rest of the team will face a new foe in the form of the android Aida (Mallory Jansen) after viewers found out that she abducted Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) and replaced her with a Life Model Decoy in S.H.I.E.L.D. ranks.
So far Aida's real plani is still unknown, but it is hinted that it will not be pleasant as the android could replace everyone at S.H.I.E.L.D. with LMD's of their own and since "May" has already been inside their base, it is only a matter of time before Aida acts her plan througout the second haft of the show, ComicBook reported.
Aida was created by scientist Holden Radcliffe for the sole purpose for S.H.I.E.L.D., but was hesitant to do so due to the Sokovia accords which prohibits the use of androids or machine after the Ultron incident in "Avengers: Age of Ultron".
Agents Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) was the first to know about Aida followed by Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and soon the whole team finds out. Aida was instrumental in stopping Eli Morrow (José Zúñiga) during the first haft of season 2.
In other news, it seems that Marvel and the showrunners are hinting that Daisy Johnson/Quake could become the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." anytime soon.
Executive producer Josh Whedon stated that Daisy could fit into the leadership role from a rookie hacker and agent to seasoned veteran and Inhuman in the organization, Entertainment Weekly reported.
It was recently indicated in the mid-season finale of season 4 that when Coulson suggested an Inhuman take his spot, he would like Daisy to do have it, while the latter jokes around the possibility.
Daisy became director of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the comics, so it will not be long for the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the character to become one in the show. S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently under the banner of Jeffrey Mace (Jason O'Mara) and while he may be doing a fine job in the eye of the public, his secret workings with anti-Inhuman senators has given viewers more than enough reason to not fully trust him.
Mace may have recently got in on the action with his team to show he is a part of the team, he still has a long ways to go before earning the trust of viewers, or even his subordinates.
Should his secret meetings come to light and a change in leadership is required, Daisy would hopefully be the next person in line for the job.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will return on Jan. 10, 2017 on ABC.
