A new gameplay walkthrough video for the upcoming "Injustice 2" video game has been released. It features Supergirl and shows off her Heat Vision and Asteroid Shower.
One of the most anticipated video games for 2017 is the sequel to "Injustice" from NetherRealms Studio. It was several months ago when the last gameplay video was released but, recently, IGN released a clip that features the Kryptonian superheroine.
"A well-rounded Jill of all trades, able to keep her own opponent at a distance," says the video, which starts off with a description of Supergirl. "She also has tricks that help her to hold her own in close quarters. Her speed and mobility are in contrast to her cousin Superman's hard-hitting brawling style."
The video shows a variety of combo moves. These will keep any opponent guessing which one she will deliver as a finishing move. Her Crossroads of Time skill is a succession of several punches in a short amount of time.
There is also Freeze Breath like Superman's that can be used at long distances. It can keep an opponent at bay. She can also create a tornado that lifts her adversary up in the air, giving her more time to deliver more deadly punches.
Supergirl can also surprise her opponent by using her Teleport Punch. Once activated, she immediately goes behind her enemy and delivers a punch, which is least expected.
Her unique Heat Vision is a fast laser attack that she can utilize from all sorts of angles, even when she is up in the air. She can even enhance this attack by performing a walking Heat Vision.
The last skill shown in the video is the Asteroid Shower super move. She brings her opponent close to the Sun and blasts them back to Earth by firing her Heat Vision at full blast, accompanied by several asteroids.
Supergirl will be joined by other new playable DC characters. The upcoming game will also feature Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Game Spot reported.
"Injustice 2" is scheduled to be released in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fans can watch Supergirl in the two-minute video below.
